Picture taken on June 24, 2009 shows Russian President Dmitry Medvedev looking at the guestbook at a monument to those who died for Nigeria's independence in Abuja. Nigerian rebels said on June 25 that they carried out a pre-dawn attack against Royal Dutch Shell facilities as part of a drive to cripple their country's multi-billion-dollar oil industry. The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) said it was timed to coincide with the visit of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
